While Stefan and Damon argue over how to handle the Lockwoods, Tyler learns more about his Uncle Mason and the family curse. Despite Elena’s wishes, Jeremy gets closer to the Lockwood mystery by hanging out with Tyler. Sheriff Forbes receives some shocking information from Mason, leading to a chaotic night.
Stefan takes more dramatic actions as he tries to discover the truth behind why Katherine has returned to Mystic Falls, and he is stunned when Katherine reveals some new information about the events that unfolded in 1864. Damon tries using a new method to resolve his issues with Mason, but his decision has serious consequences. Tyler pressures Mason to tell him the truth about the Lockwood family. Stefan and Elena are faced with limited options when Katherine gives them an ultimatum.
Elena, Damon and Alaric go to Duke University to find Isobel’s research into the paranormal and look for clues to the mystery surrounding the Lockwood family; Stefan faces a new danger in the woods; Tyler makes a shocking discovery about Mason.

It’s Founder’s Day, and everyone is preparing for floats and fireworks. Though Damon and Alaric try to stop Johnathan Gilbert, he sets his plan in motion, leading to a chaotic, destructive, and deadly end to the Founder’s Day celebration.
We are nearing the end of the Vampire Diaries season 1 and this weeks’s episode promises to be exciting. We find that Isobel returns to town and stuns Alaric and demands that he arrange a meeting with Elena. When they finally meet Isobel refuses to answer most on Elena’s questions, but reveals her intentions that she will let nothing stop her until she finds the invention that Johnathan Gilbert has been searching for.

This weeks episode of vampire diaries sounds very interesting. We have Elena and Caroline competing for the title of Miss Mystic Falls against other girls in town. This should definitely be interesting. Also, Bonnie is back in town but still has some issues to work through. John Gilbert tries to intimidate Damon but he doesn’t get the desired effects. And Damon finds out that Stefan has been hiding a dangerous secret that could impact everyone. Certainly sounds exciting. Since there’s no Blood Suckers Ananymous, this week’s episode will be called “Under Control” because it will be about Stefan’s new dangerous desires.
